Here we have listed frequently asked questions for your summer and winter holidays
at Schöne Aussicht **** apartments:

How far is it to the bus stop?
The bus stop is 400m or an approximately 10-minute walk from our house.

How far is it to the nearest ski lift?
The Rastkogelbahn lift (With this gondola you can access the Zillertal 3000 ski and glacier world - Rastkogel-Eggalm-Penken.) is 450m away. There is a ski storage depot for your skiing equipment.

How far is it to the Hintertux Glacier?
The glacier lift is 8km from our house. Ample free parking. There is a ski storage depot for your skiing equipment.

Is the house next to the ski piste?
No, skiing starts at the Rastkogelbahn lift. On the valley downhill you get back to your starting point. The gondola base station is a 10-minute walk from our house.

Is a supermarket nearby?
The supermarket "MiniM" is 400m from our house. From November to Easter the "SPAR" supermarket is also open on Sunday afternoons from 3.00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are also a sports shop, a ski rental, restaurants and après ski bars in the village centre.

Are non-skid chains required in the winter?
Roads might be snow-covered, so it is advisable to bring non-skid chains. You should test back home how to fix them. The size of the non-skid chains must fit to the respective wheel dimension.

Is there a car park at the house?
Yes, you park your car right in front of our house.

Are towels and linen available?
Yes, towels, kitchen towels and linen are provided. The towels are changed upon request.

Does the kitchen have an oven?
No, the kitchen features no oven. There is a microwave though for warming something up and a toaster.

Can I bring my own Nespresso capsules or buy them in the shop?
You get the Nespresso capsules for the machine for Euro 0.90/capsule at the hotel. Capsules that you bring yourself are not compatible.
  
Is there a cot bed and a high chair for children? 
Just let us know that you need a cot bed and a high chair when booking.

Is there a washing machine in the house?
Yes, a wash costs Euro 4.

Is admission to the Playarena included for the whole stay?
Yes, on arrival day children get a textile wristband for free admission to the Playarena.

Is child-care at the Playarena free of charge?
Yes, children from 3 years of age are looked after all day and free of charge. Exact child-care hours can be taken from www.playarena .at 

Does the Playarena also offer baby care?  
Baby care (0-3 years) is possible. Booking at the Playarena required.

How far is the apartment from the Playarena?
The Playarena is 500 metres from the house. On request children are returned by taxi in the evening. 

Is there a sauna in the house? 
You can use the sauna area of Hotel Alpenjuwel for a fee (including towels and juice bar).

Is there an indoor pool nearby?
The Mayrhofen public swimming pools with slide, sauna and outdoor pool in the summer is the nearest swimming bath. It is a 15-minute car ride from the house. The Fügen thermal spa with slide, wave pool, outdoor area, sauna and outdoor swimming pool in the summer is a 45-minute drive from the apartments.
