Vacations at the highest level

The summits almost within one’s grasp – holiday makers can enjoy multi-faceted hiking experiences and unforgettable mountaineers’ bliss in Tux in the summer. The nature park stretches from an altitude of 1,000m in Ginzling up to an altitude of 3,509m at Hochfeiler and covers all altitude levels of the Central Alps.

Guests of Schöne Aussicht Family can join all guided nature park hikes free of charge. On the hikes you will get plenty of information and background information on the impressive natural and cultural landscape of the back of the Zillertal.

Mountain Biking & Cycling

Paradise for knights in shining lycra

With the mountain or electric bike you can ride along well sign-posted forest trails around Tux. Take advantage of free bicycle transport up Sommerbergalm (2,100m) or use the Finkenberger Almbahnen lifts to get to perfect starting points for your mountain bliss.

And if you prefer a more relaxed pace, you can use the asphalt-covered cycle ways starting from Mayrhofen for a family-friendly cycling excursion. The Zillertalbahn train is an attractive option to shorten the route. Well stored sports shops provide suitable rental equipment for your favourite cycling tour.

The Zillertalbahn offers many possibilities for cyclists: city bikes, bikes for children, seats for children and helmet can be rented and returned at the strain stations.
